6 minute perusals--Quest: to learn one new thing
Looking at two famous Shakespeare Quotes:
Hamlet's Soliloquoy
Macbeth's Lament
Work time for objectives or "New Immortals Trading Cards"
HW: Read Vonnegut's "Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" and be prepread to discuss the following questions THUR:
1. What elements of Vonnegut's "world" don't seem so sci-fi today?
2. How would the "rules for Immortals" set up for the Swift's Struldbrugs made the situation for the Schwartz Family a little more tolerable?
3. What is significant about the title Vonnegut chose for his story?
4. While this is kind of a dark story it is also humorous, and I would contend, positive. Support or refute my claim.
5. At what age would YOU stop taking anti-gerasone?
